Antonia Lofaso

The food that is served by Chef Antonia invites guests to explore the deep. Food that she cooks is a source of interest that was born from the moment she stepped beyond the outskirts of Long Island and into the culturally diverse scene in Los Angeles. Carnitas and Cavatellis within the same menu is her belief. The dishes she serves have a common concept, that is embracing the moment and reminiscing on the past. Inspired by her heritage as an Italian-American, Lofaso established Scopa Italian Roots in 2013 and was instantly well-received. Lofaso's interpretation of traditional Italian has been called the one of Los Angeles' most compelling Italian eateries. Lofaso has been described as a neighborhood favourite that serves up dishes that are authentic, tasty and inviting. Lofaso was a student of legendary chefs and absorbed their sophisticate techniques but she never hesitated of taking risks that were too high to be true to her own instincts. She swiftly rose up the ranks of Wolfgang Puck's Spago after which she went further to collaborate with celebrities in various Los Angeles kitchens. In 2011 Lofaso partnered with Sal Aurora and Mario Guddemi to debut Black Market Liquor Bar in Studio City. Lofaso found her place in Black Market, and through the partnerships that she created. The creative spirit of Lofaso would be fostered with this partnership. Black Market doesn't have one specific orientation. It's their goal. A course might begin with dill potato chips and shishito peppers followed by an ice cream roll Korean wings and a succession of meatballs. The underlying ingredient in this dazzling assortment of flavours is Antonia. Lofaso assesses the success she has had over the course of her career based on the innate ability she has to understand her audience and be loyal to her character. Her memorable performance on Top Chef Chicago and Top Chef: All Stars highlighted her uniqueness outside of the kitchen and her talents remain in the spotlight of the camera, as a Judge on the CNBC's Restaurant Startup and in regular roles on The Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child as well as ABC's Real O'neals. In 2012 Lofaso joined with Penguin for the release of the Busy Mom's Cookbook 100 recipes for quick Delicious homemade Meals The book also describes the obstacles she faced while studying at the elite French Culinary Institute, and simultaneously raising her daughter Xea. Lofaso believes that the main driving force behind her achievements is her kitchen. It's through this vein she keeps a steady finger on the pulse. Through the Chefletics brand, she's revolutionizing the aesthetics of her field by redesigning clothing for chefs that is stylish and also serves a functionality. Lofaso believes that sticking to the way you see yourself is crucial. In order to achieve this goal, she created Antonia Lofaso Catering. It will allow clients to receive the most personal experience.
