Angela Kaufman

Angela Kaufman works as an Writer, Author, and Speaker. She's also a Licensed Intuitive Consultant. She is certified as a Psychic Medium, and Reiki practitioner and is also an Ordained Minister. Her fame was established as an artist of portraits over a three-year period in Italy. The election of Kauffman to Rome's Accademia San Luca (the Academy of Saint Lucia) in 1765 is a acknowledgement of her accomplishments as an artist. Angelica Kauffman lived in England for just 15 years however she left a huge contribution to London's 18th century arts scene. Angelica Kauffman was only one of only 2 female founder members of the Royal Academy. The artist Angelica Kauffman died on November 5th 1807 aged sixty-six. Liz Powers and her brother Spencer Powers founded ArtLifting together in the month of November. Liz was selected for Forbes 30 Under 30 as the Boston Globe's Game Changers. When she has time off, Liz likes to create art out of old books walk, run, and sail. Kauffman was introduced to the British Community in Rome after she relocated there in January 1763. The family then moved to Naples and she was able to continue painting while studying English. Kauffman took classes in Old Masters there and her first work was taken to London for a public exhibit.
