Linda Edna Cardellini was born in Redwood City, California, to Lorraine (Hernan) and Wayne David Cardellini who is a businessman. Her heritage is Italian by descent from her father's grandfather. She is Irish through her mom, German, English, Scottish and German. Linda is the youngest of California's children was raised in her home in the San Francisco Bay Area. She became interested in acting as a ten year old, after she sang in the school's Christmas show. The school continued to offer plays and theater for the community. Linda attended Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, California. At the time of her graduation, she had decide between New York, where she could study theater and acting, as well as Los Angeles, where film and television were her options. Following her graduation, she was required to decide whether or not to pursue television and film in Los Angeles. Linda's first part was in the show in 1996 Bone Chillers. Freaks and Geeks was the part that brought her a breakthrough. She played academic Decathlete Lindsay Weir on the celebrated show, which was awarded the Emmy Award in the Category of Outstanding Casting for the Comedy Series
Lily James is a stage name used for Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson, an English actress born on April 5, 1989. She was trained in acting at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London before launching her acting career on the British television show Just William (2010). After her character in the role of Lady Rose MacClare in the period drama series Downton Abbey (2012-2015), her first big break came in her role as the lead in the fantasy film Cinderella (2015). James continued to play the role of the Countess Natasha Rostova for the television adaptation War & Peace (2016).
