Teryl Rothery is an actress from Canada. She has been seen on stage, television as well as in films. She is most famous for playing Janet Fraiser in the TV show Stargate SG-1. The actress was also the lead character of Cedar Cove's Grace Sherman, as well being a part of major roles such as Muriel in Virgin River, Jean Loring, in Arrow, and Celia Hudson, in Nancy Drew. Rothery has appeared in numerous TV films. Rothery began dancing when she was just nine years old. In 1995, Rothery considered that this was the beginning of her career in entertainment. She was 13 years old when she started dancing lessons. At the age of 14, she was a part of Bye Bye Birdie. at age 14 she appeared in The Sound of Music at Marpole Community Theatre. As a young person she was a dancer in The Irish Rovers variety television series,[2] and at age 18, she was first seen on television in an Canadian Broadcasting Corporation television special for Halloween.
